I’ve been a believer early on. Before the draft even. I’ve been a witness.
But now I don’t like what I’m witnessing. There were instances before, which, for all LeBron has done, could have been ignored.
But now, with what has happened in these playoffs, maybe the drive really is different. Maybe it’s not as much about the rings as it is with the other greats. Not like MJ, not like KB.

And now I can’t help myself for rooting for the Black Mamba instead. Or Superman. Or even the Celtics or the Suns.
NBA Final Four 2010. Hopefully just as good, or even better, without the King.

And hopefully the spotlight doesn’t turn to Free Agency in July just yet. Cast LeBron in the shadows first and make the bright lights shine on those truly who deserve it at this time of the year.
